We are thrilled to announce a significant milestone in the evolution of our publication. Effective starting Vol. 2 No. 1 (2025): December, our journal will be officially rebranded and published under its new title:

The new name, FAFELA, precisely reflects our sharpened focus on forward-looking ("futures") research. We are now exclusively dedicated to publishing high-impact studies utilizing quantitative, predictive, and analytical modeling to solve contemporary challenges in global agro-food supply chains.

What Does This Mean for Our Community?
1. Elevated Academic Standards: Aligning with our roadmap toward global indexing (Scopus and Web of Science), FAFELA has implemented stricter double-blind peer-review processes, rigorous methodological requirements, and full compliance with COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines.
2. Continuity of Published Work: All manuscripts published under the previous journal title remain valid, fully accessible, and safely archived within our digital repository.
3. Updated Author Guidelines: We urge all prospective authors to carefully review our newly updated Aims & Scope and Author Guidelines before submission, as our criteria for methodological rigor and analytical depth have been significantly enhanced.
